Senior Development Geologist / Project Economist
Akeem joined Degeconek Nigeria Limited in 2010 where he works on projects involving technical and commercial analysis, integrated Field Development Studies and economic due diligence evaluation and valuation for acquisition and divestiture purpose for clients – Oil E&P companies, Banks and other transnational financial institutions.
He is responsible for identifying quick wins, developing completions/recompletions and production optimization strategies, analyzing inflow and outflow well performance and recommending oil and gas field development, planning and implementation of reservoir surveillance strategy.
His other key responsibilities are; proposition of gas development and commercialization strategies, resource estimation and classification in both green and brown fields using volumetric, simulation, material balance and decline curve analysis. He is also part of the team responsible for production forecast, prospect generation and ranking of hydrocarbon potential, well planning project management and monitoring.
He is a member of many professional associations such as NAPE, NISP, and MCP and has a publication; Integrated Structural and Seismic Attribute Interpretation of Z-Field Onshore, Niger Delta (Publication Vol 2, No. 2 Aug. 2013 Journal of Earth Science Research).
